Here is my latest Encaustic artwork. I call this "Moments of Repose" for the model looked so relaxed.
This is a actual sketch of a model using graphite and ink. The drawing was mounted on birchwood panel, and fused with wax. Mediums used: Oil, Wax, Graphite, Ink, Gold Leaf. The painting is 9 x 12 mounted on wood panel and ready to hang.  I love the color flow of the wax, and how it really brings out the model and the mood.
